What is the Opening Date of African Bible University for the 2017-2018 Academic Year?

RE-OPENING DATE

AFRICAN BIBLE UNIVERSITY'S RE-OPENING DATE FOR SEMESTER 1, 2017-2018 ACADEMIC YEAR

The opening dates are as follows:

New 1st Year Students

The new First Year students should report to the university on Monday 28th August, 2017. Registration is in the morning and the orientation programme will begin after lunch on this same day. If the new first year students coming from very far (like those from Malawi) arrive on Saturday or Sunday 26th- 27th August, there will be no extra charge.

Returning (2nd, 3rd & 4th Year) Students

All continuing students should return on Wednesday 30th August 2017. Registration will will be in the afternoon of this return date from 1:30pm – 6:00 pm. Classes will resume the following morning on Thursday 31st August.

PLEASE NOTE:

A Late registration fee of 40,000Ush will be charged for any first year student who registraters after 6:00pm August. 28th and for any continuing 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student who registers after 6:30 on Wednesday August 30th.

Late Registration & Withdrawal from Elective Courses

  • Late registration:
Two weeks after classes have begun, i.e. Wednesday 13th September, is the last day that late registrations can be accepted for first semester, but make every effort to be here for the very first class.

  • Withdrawal from elective course:
Three weeks after classes have begun, i.e. Wednesday 20th September is the deadline for withdrawal from courses. Forms for withdrawal are available from the Registrar's office, and must be signed by both the class teacher and the Academic Registrar.
