This course will seek to understand the fullness of the biblical teaching on the main topics associated with the doctrine of God. Topics to be considered include: general and special revelation; the inspiration of Holy Scripture; the nature and attributes of God; the Trinity; God's sovereign work in creation and providence; the distinctiveness of man as God's image-bearer; man in a state of sin; and God's gracious commitment to redeem by means of the covenant.
The goal of this course is to enable the student to see the richness of the teaching of the scriptures on the major topics that affect human life, such as the nature of God and man, the origin and destiny of the created world, and the reality of the problem of human sin.
